Privacy Policy

FocusVille (“the app”, “we”) cares about your privacy. This policy explains, in plain language, what data is processed when you use the app. In short: your progress is stored on your device, there are no ads, and we don’t track you across other apps.

1. Data stored on your device

Your game data — your character, level, coins, purchases, streak, stats and settings — is stored primarily on your own device. This data is not automatically sent to our servers.

2. Limited data we process

To improve the app, the following services may process limited data when enabled. None of it is used for advertising or cross-app tracking.

• Crash & error logs (Sentry): If the app crashes, technical error information (device model, OS, stack trace) so we can fix it. Not linked to your identity.
• Usage analytics (PostHog): Anonymous event data such as which screens are used and session start/complete, to understand what works. Not linked to your identity.
• Purchases (RevenueCat): If you buy an optional membership, purchase information is processed to manage your subscription status. We never see your payment details; payment is handled by Apple.

3. Accounts and cloud (optional)

An account is never required. The entire app — including buying a membership — works as a guest. An account exists only to back up your progress to the cloud and restore it when you change devices.

If you choose to sign in, there are two ways: Sign in with Apple or email + password. In that case we store:

• Your email address (if you pick “Hide My Email” with Apple, the relay address Apple generates) and your account identifier.
• Your game data: level, coins, character appearance, items, streak, diary and statistics — stored against your account.

Data is held on servers in the European Union (Supabase) and protected with row-level security: only you can access your own data. We never see your password. Your session is stored encrypted on your device (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore).

You can delete your account at any time: Settings → Account → “Delete my account”. This permanently deletes your account and all cloud game data; it cannot be undone. (If you have a subscription, cancel it separately through the App Store — Apple manages subscriptions.)

4. No tracking

We show no ads, use no advertising identifier (IDFA), and do not sell your data to third parties. For this reason the app does not request Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission.

5. Children

The app is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

6. Notifications

If you allow them, the app shows local notifications on your device to remind you of your focus habit. You can turn these off anytime in settings.

7. Exercising your rights

As a guest: Settings → “Reset progress” deletes all your data, or you can simply uninstall the app.

With an account: Settings → Account → “Delete my account” permanently deletes your account and all cloud data. You can also turn off anonymous usage data sharing in Settings. Contact us with any questions.
